Microblading is a semi- permanent cosmetic procedure used to enhance the appearance of eyebrows. It involves using a fine blade to deposit pigment into the skin, creating natural, hair- like strokes.

Microshading is a combination of microbladed, hair-like strokes and machine shading that creates a powdered makeup effect to really fill and define the brow. Microshading can be as bold or as natural as we choose.

Microblading is perfect for those who already have full eyebrows and want a more natural, defined, and filled brow. Microshading is often recommended for more mature skin types, oily skin types, or those who have uneven eyebrows and need shading to match the density of the natural brow hairs. A full consultation will be done to decide which style will best suit your skin type and desired look.

Microblading typically takes around 1-2 hours.

Mild discomfort is normal during your microblading procedure. A numbing cream will be applied after each pass to minimize any pain.

Microblading typically lasts between 1 and 3 years, depending on your lifestyle. Annual touchups are recommended between 12-24 months to maintain the desired look.

The initial healing process takes 7-14 days. The color will appear slightly darker at first, then will soften and lighten 20% - 30%. The complete healing and final results will be visible after 4-6 weeks.

About 80% of people will need a follow-up appointment that will take place between 4-8 weeks. During this appointment, we will reintroduce the pigment into the skin where there is visible fading and alter any shape or concerns if necessary.

-Avoid any alcohol, caffein, aspirin, and any blood thinning medications for 24 hours before your appointment.

-Avoid excessive sun exposure and tanning a week prior to your appointment.

-Discontinue the use of retinol, glycolic acid and any other exfoliating products for a week prior to your appointment.

IF YOU DO NOT FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS, YOUR APPOINTMENT WILL BE RESCHEDULED TO A DIFFERENT DAY.

If you currently have any of these or are doing any of these it can cause issues when trying to get microblading done. Breast feeding, pregnant, high blood pressure, sunburns, blood thinners, chemo, radiation, Botox filler within 14 days, accutane within a year

Gently cleanse the area with the foam cleanser, gently pat your brows dry, apply a rice size amount of ointment to your brows (make sure not to apply too much as this could delay the healing of your brows), repeat this morning and night for 7 -10 days. Make sure to avoid any sun exposure or excess sweating for 7 days (hats are our best friends during the healing process)
